Here’s our Contracts Manager, Craig Parry with BBC Children in Need Pudsey Bear at Media City in Salford – where we’ve just designed & then built a public access scaffold at very short notice, for people to abseil down, helping BBC staff raise over £6,000 for the charity.
Lyndon’s regional manager, Jon Cooke said: “The BBC were let down by another scaffolding firm at the last minute. We got a call on Tuesday and they needed the scaffolding erected, for public access use on Thursday.
“Lyndon MD, Rob Lynch signed off the job as fast as possible, and cleared our in-house design team to draw a scaffold design that would be safe and our team built it on Wednesday, for use yesterday!”
Chris Norris, Internal Communications and Engagement Lead for BBC North said: “Without Lyndon we wouldn’t have been able to make it happen. So a big thanks on behalf of everyone here to you and everyone else that was involved – you were all brilliant.”
Lyndon made no charge for the services.
