Teams from Lyndon SGB by BrandSafway’s Leeds branch have been providing hybrid ‘total access solutions’ for main contractor client Morgan Sindall at the Springwell Gardens project in Leeds city centre.

Half a million pounds worth of hybrid access solutions are being provided – in the form of in-house designed Cuplok scaffolding, MASTCLIMBERS™ and Taylor’s Hoists – to help Morgan Sindall construct luxury urban living residential blocks, over the next 18 months.

And the project also includes the hire usage of Lyndon SGB’s bespoke Rapid EPS edge protection system – further adding to the Lyndon SGB ‘one stop shop’ for working at height safety needs.

Lyndon SGB General Manager, Jonathon O’Connor said: “We engaged at an early stage with Morgan Sindall and have provided a suitable hybrid access solution for the footprint of the site. All three major disciplines of our business – scaffolding, MASTCLIMBERS™ and Taylor’s Hoists – have worked in perfect harmony together. And we have also successfully supplied our Rapid EPS system on a rental basis, which has been very well received by the client.”

Nathan Whiteman, Project Leader, Morgan Sindall Construction Yorkshire & North East added: “We have a very strong, long standing previous working relationship with Lyndon SGB in the region – resulting in Lyndon SGB being one of our preferred supplied chain members. And for this project – requiring multiple access needs – Lyndon SGB were our preferred choice, capable of being able to deliver a “one stop shop” of scaffolding/hoist and mastclimber installation, with in-house design solutions and residential construction experience.”
