Course Duration: 1 Day
Target Group: Aimed at any person(s) who, as part of their working duties will be involved in the erection, dismantling and use of Towers on Stairs and must have a valid PASMA card (PASMA mobile Access Towers).
Aim and Objectives: Provide candidates with the necessary information to safely erect, use, inspect and dismantle aluminium or fibreglass Towers on Stairs.
At the end of the instruction the candidate will be able to:
- Have an understanding of the statutory regulations
- Inspect Access Tower equipment
- Identify Safe Working Heights
- Understand Safe Working Loads
- Moving Access Towers on Stairs
- Use and inspect Access Towers on Stairs
Course Content:
- Health & Safety legislation & regulations in scaffolding
- PASMA Code of Practice
- Safe Working at Heights
- Identifying Access Towers on Stairs equipment
- Manufactures Instruction Manuals
- Ground and site conditions
- Sequence of erecting and dismantling Access Towers on Stairs
- Use of stabilisers, outriggers and ties
- Inspection report procedures
Training Location Options: Nationwide
Certification: Certificates and ID Cards are included in the cost of this course and are produced by BEIS Ltd which is valid for 5 years. They will be forwarded to the customer once payment has been received in full.
Equipment: You will be required to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) during the practical aspects of your course. You will be required to bring with you your own hard hat, safety boots, high visibility vest and, eye Protection (for Brand Sites).
Number of Candidates per Course: A minimum of 4, maximum of 12
